We will select from the wonderful variety supplied by our English grower and pop them into a box with a little foliage to support them.

There are many different varieties and colours available due to selective breeding.

There are lots of ideas about why Tulips behave as they do.

Firstly they continue growing so will naturally elongate.

Secondly they are phototropic so grow towards the light.

They DO NOT need lots of water, just an inch or so at the bottom of the container.

IF they do go floppy they may be suffering from an air lock, so take a fine pin and just push it through the stem  below the flower head to rectify.
